Welcome to SoC Labs

Thank you for joining SoC Labs. It was interesting to see your interests in Analog IC design as well as lab on a chip and I assume the integration of these into a broader SoC. I see you have also stated an interest in accelerators so again assuming you are looking to process data within the system. It would be good to see how we can collaborate with you.

We look forward to hearing from you.

How are things

Hi,

I hope things are going well. The SoC Labs community keeps expanding and we are always looking to develop additional projects and collaborations.

Welcome to SoC Labs

Welcome,

It is good to see you have started a project. Once you are happy with the description you can pass the draft for moderation and then it can be published.  Simple change the Save from Draft to Editorial. You can come back to a project at any time and make changes and updates. If you need any help just let us know.

Updating Milestones

We have been looking at ways to help us all keep track of progress on the projects and we have added a simple way to step through the necessary steps of the SoC design process flows.

In your project you will see it as a Red/Amber/Green status:

RAG status of milestones

So the task “Getting Started” you can simply click on it and read the guidance and then update your project milestones as you go …

The “Getting Started” milestone has a task Access to IP and  so that is now completed. So you can add that.

Likewise the Specifying a SoC it looks like you are making progress on that.

Looking forward to working with you as we step through the process milestones.

John.

I would recommend looking at…

I would recommend looking at this project as a good example of how to get started in your project.

See their initial milestone:

Describing in the milestone the learning you are doing and how you are getting on with things helps everyone support you better.

Aspen: Accelerator for Extended Reality

Hi,

I see you have a Draft project that you are working on that used an M3 CPU and taped out on the Intel 16 platform. It looks like you have got all the way through the design and fabrication of this device. It would be great to see this highlighted to the rest of the SoC Labs community.

Once you are happy with the description you can pass the draft for moderation and then it can be published.  Simple change the Save from Draft to Editorial. You can come back to a project at any time and make changes and updates. If you need any help just let us know.

editorial not draft

We would be happy to talk about your experience in undertaking this design and look forward to hearing from you.
